I am an artist, and nature photographer living in Hobe Sound , Florida. Hobe Sound is just north of Jupiter, and south of Stuart on the east coast of Florida. I find the natural world a fascinating study. I try to capture images of a time that is slipping away. The changing landscape all across our country, especially in my home state of Florida, and Martin County, is also of great interest to me. The smaller regional feel to the American landscape is disappearing as everything becomes more homogeneous.

The computer and a bit of imaging software is such a great tool to create, and or enhance images. The original film is scanned into the computer. The newer stuff is captured directly by digital cameras. The photography is then enhanced using digital imaging software. I occasionally will draw or paint part of the artwork and then scan that into the computer to incorporate it into my pieces. I also use a digital painting technique in which I can paint and draw directly in the computer.
